I am June Chang, Registered Massage therapist. I graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College. Massage therapy had always interested me from a very young age. I practiced a number of simple to intensive massage therapies that include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Trigger Point Release, Joint mobilization, PNF and IASTM.
I also have a passion for treating patients who have chronic pain from motor vehicle accidents because I have been through several times myself. Massage therapy not only gave me pain relief I needed, but also restored my mental health too. I would like to provide that improvement for others who are suffering from daily living pain.
I have participated in various outreach placements including BC women’s hospital for treating high risk pregnancy, Senior’s rest home for treating neurological symptoms, City Centre Care Society, marathon races and more.
I worked at the medical spa for 2 years and while there I recognized that some patients would benefit from another forms of therapy, and also sometimes need a combination of services. I decided to take the next step in my career as a Certified medical aesthetician.
I will combine all of my skills and knowledge to be
most effective in treating patients’ condition and managing their symptoms.
